MT BULLER PARK 2008 RIP IT UP at Mt Buller this winter in one of our awesome terrain parks. The resort’s freeride facilities will again be one of the top features and a must do experience in 2008.
Mt Buller Park - or as you will get to know this awesome experience, MBP - has something for everyone, whether you like to ride the rails, try a new trick in the half-pipe, race on the boarderX course or get air off one of the huge summit jumps, MBP is the place to be for freestyle fun.
PARK LAYOUT
So let’s get to know the place...Developed to suit all levels, the MBP allows riders to build confidence and practice and improve their existing skill set.
* Kofler's Park The MBP range of beginner freestyle facilities are located in the new park at Koflers T-bar near the top of the Wombat Chair. We propose to have a range of rails that will allow those who are just starting out ease into the world of rails and feature fun.
* Skyline Park Intermediate rail riders and jump masters should head to the Skyline Park where rails, jumps and features have been primed for intermediate skiers and boarders.
* Summit Park Experienced riders should head to the Summit Terrain Park to try out the range of challenging jumps and terrain park features. This is not for the faint hearted as our Park Crew, let by Adam Edwards, create incredible features for those who really seek a challenge.
MBP EVENTS The Mt Buller Park plays host to some of Australia's hottest freestyle events including the annual Cattleman's Rail Jam presented by Burton which showcases Australia's
best riders displaying their skill and daring on the monster staircase
in the heart of the village.
Other must not miss events include: - PEPSI EXPRESSION SESSIONS AUG 2-3
- VOLCOM STONE'S PEANUT BUTTER AND RAIL JAM - JULY 19
INTERNATIONAL SMART STYLE
In line with the international ‘Smart Style’ standards, the MBP is graded from S to XL (easy to hard) to allow people to easily match each terrain park with their personal abilities.

SMART STYLE GUIDELINES:
When on the mountain please ensure at all times that you adhere to the smart style guide lines which are:
1. MAKE A PLAN Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
2. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
3. EASY STYLE IT Start small and work your way up.
4. RESPECT GETS RESPECT From the lift line through the park.
